Meet Meghan Doody

MSN | APRN | FNP-BC | FOUNDER, LONG VIEW HEALTH

The Long View Health Brand is legally part of NP Health Coach LLC.

I founded NP Health Coach LLC (d/b/a Long View Health) to build the practice I kept wishing existed — one grounded in prevention, risk reduction, and genuine long-term partnership.”

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, my clinical focus has centered on cardiometabolic health and early intervention. Through my work in integrative cardiac care, I saw how sustainable lifestyle change and timely treatment can alter the trajectory of chronic disease. In hospice care, I witnessed the long-term consequences of unmanaged cardio-metabolic illness, not only on lifespan, but on quality of life. Those experiences continue to shape how I practice today.

At Long View Health, I provide evidence-based metabolic care: addressing the underlying drivers of weight, energy, and hormonal health with a steady, measured approach. My goal is not rapid change, but sustainable progress, guided by careful evaluation, education, and thoughtful use of medication when appropriate.

I completed advanced health coaching training through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute because I believe that prescribing authority alone is not enough. The behavior change piece is where most clinical programs fall short, and it’s where Long View Health is built to go deeper. I believe patients deserve time, clarity, and support. Care here is intentionally unhurried and collaborative. Together, we develop realistic plans aligned with your goals and focused on long-term health.

Outside of my clinical work, I am a mother of four living in Montgomery County. I understand firsthand the realities of balancing health with the demands of daily life, the competing priorities, the constraints, the moments when the ideal plan meets actual life.

That perspective directly informs the practical, sustainable approach I bring to patient care. I’m not interested in plans that only work in a vacuum. The strategies we build together are designed to fit your real life, not a hypothetical version of it.
